This morning I walked to the end of the block and back.  Big deal?  Yeah it kinda was.  It's .5 mile from our house to the corner, so up and back is a full mile.  WOO-HOO! The surgeon said I probably wouldn't be able to walk that distance until like sixth week after surgery but<img src="http://images.multiply.com/common/smiles/tongue.png"> did it in eleven days.  So there.    Have to use a cane, mostly because with this head/neck brace I can't turn my head.  Be sorta a waste to go through all this surgery and then take a face plant, or get hit by a car. Okies so I was subjected to a stress test a couple of days ago.  All in all, wasn't bad but I would rather have a root canal without novocain. First off there is a bit of a gender bias. Men, providing their shirt doesn't have metal in it, can keep their tops on.  Women, have to strip, from the waist up.  Why?  You might think it's because of the metal in our bras, but you would be wrong. It's because for the x-ray/imaging part of the test, they (it's always "they") want the girls in a relaxed natural position.  *SNORT*   So even if you're wearing a sports bra, with no metal, it has to come off. Anyway, this is a great action shot of last night's game.  It's a completely legal tackle.  Try that in the NFL and we're talking major penalties,  face mask, unsportsman like conduct, clipping maybe, 15 yard penalty at least.
